you know how people say "boys are like purses"
well i see relationships like tupperware.
you have a tupperware but no actual lid,
and you have a whole stack of different lids,
so you go one by one trying to find the right lid,
and maybe you will grab one of those lids,
[even if it's not the same size]
because for a while, it keeps your tupperware closed,
and makes your insides feel safe and warm.
but then once that lid finds its right tupperware it will leave.
so you go back, and keep looking for the right lid,
until eventually one day, there it is.
looking at you like it's the first day of kindergarten.
